Promises and commitments are sometimes difficult to keep. Humans love making promises and easily break them owing to the fact that we have faulty memories; we easily forget. Conversely, the attitude of many people towards commitment is different; as much as possible, they keep a distance by sailing away from it.
Commitment is something which I fully understand. As a grown up, I realized that to commit myself not to engage into something which will break my heart in the long run and will sorely ache the hearts of those who love me most is NEVER TO BEGIN it.
I’m having a hard time keeping my promises and commitments but I am exerting efforts to keep them. ;-)
